Ana M. dela Peña, Davao Region general manager for Vista Land’s flagship brand Camella, said they are adding members to the team that is tasked to scout for potential areas such as in Digos City, Davao del Sur and Kidapawan City, Cotabato.
“It only means that our focus now is not only Davao but we are also looking at other areas, especially (those) without the presence of Camella projects,” Ms. Dela Peña said.
In Davao City, where it already has several residential complex and condominium projects, Ms. Dela Peña said they are planning to open at least three more projects next year.
One is an “affordable segment” condominium, with a price range of P1.3 million to P1.5 million for a studio unit. Negotiations are ongoing for the property.
“We are eyeing to open an affordable condo project to cover all market segments,” she said.
Vista Land, considered as the country’s largest home developer, currently has Camella Northpoint in the city, a five building mid-rise complex, with the fifth building almost complete.
Another condominium project in the Lanang area, with about 120 units, is planned for construction by the first quarter next year. This will be the first condominium joint venture project for Camella under the brand Vista Residences.
Camella is also launching next year a township project in Toril, located about 12 kilometers southwest of the city proper.
